Guitarist in a gray sweater playing electric guitar in the studio

Musician, enthusiast, and lifelong passenger on the Struggle Bus, I’m a self-taught lefty who learned to play on a right-handed guitar in my twenties. Why do I play? Simple: music is life. It’s magic. It’s the great equalizer — cutting across generations, backgrounds, and time itself. Every song is a memory, a time machine. From Shout at the Devil, Power of the Gospel, Take Me to the River, Santeria, Steal My Kisses, Ramble On Rose, I Believe in Everything, to Baby Shark (yes, even that one) — each track is a stamp in the passport of my life. There’s not a single era that isn’t marked by a song. Some people have photo albums — I have playlists.

I love everything about music: listening to it, creating it, practicing it, performing it. There’s no fanfare needed — it’s a raw, honest love. I play because each time I pick up the guitar, I get to chase something better than the last time. Whether I’m on a stage or sitting in my room at 2am with a worn-out amp, I’m exactly where I want to be.

That said, performing didn’t come easy. For a long time, I avoided the stage entirely. But thanks to the relentless encouragement of our drummer, I finally gave in. And I’m glad I did. There’s nothing like that moment when you lock eyes with someone in the crowd and realize you’re both feeling the same thing — it’s electric. It’s not about being seen — it’s about feeling something and hoping someone out there feels it too. The stage has become a place of peace for me.  It’s where the rest of the world fades out and all that’s left is the music.

I love this band. I love this bus. And I love to play.
