Struggle Bus Project (“Struggle Bus,” “we,” “us”) is a music collective based at Lulu Studio in West Palm Beach, Florida.
This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies only to this website, not to other sites we link to.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the website and keep you updated.
Information you give us
- Your email address, when you sign up for updates through the Stay Informed form. The form also records your IP address and browser details with your signup, which helps us block spam.
- Anything you send us, if you email us: your email address, your name if you include it, and your message.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, our hosting and security providers and our analytics tool receive standard technical information:
- IP address and the approximate location it indicates (city or region, not your exact address)
- Browser, device type and operating system
- Pages you visit, how long you stay and the site that referred you
- Date and time of your visit
What we don’t collect
We don’t collect payment information, account passwords or government ID numbers. We don’t ask for health information, and we ask that you not send it to us.
How we use information
We use your information to:
- Send you the updates you signed up for: new music, upcoming shows and band news
- Reply when you contact us
- Understand how people use the site so we can improve it
- Keep the site secure and block spam and abuse
- Meet our legal obligations
We don’t sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t use it for targeted advertising.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use a small number of them, and none for advertising.

Google Analytics tells us how many people visit, which pages they view, roughly where they are and what devices they use. It doesn’t tell us who you are. Google handles this data under the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every website with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though Cloudflare may ask you to confirm you’re not a bot.
Do Not Track signals
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal to the websites you visit. There is no agreed standard for how websites should respond to it, so this site does not change how it works when it receives one. You can still turn off analytics using the options above.
Third-party tracking
Google Analytics is the only third party that collects information about your visits to this site, and it measures activity on this site only. We don’t allow advertising networks, social media pixels or other third parties to track your activity on our site over time or across other websites.
How we share information
Our mailing list is seen only by the band members who manage it. We don’t sell it, rent it or give it to other organizations for their own use.
We share information only in these cases:
- Service providers that run parts of the website for us and may use the information only for that purpose:
- WP Engine hosts the website, including the mailing list collected through our signup form
- Cloudflare protects the site and speeds up delivery
- Google provides Google Analytics
- An email service, if we start using one to send updates
- Legal reasons, when the law requires it or to protect the safety and rights of our visitors, the band or others.
- A change in who runs the project. If the project or this website moves to a new operator, the mailing list would move with it, under this policy.
How long we keep information
- Mailing list: we keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We stop sending you emails within 10 days of your request, and delete your email address and signup details within 30 days.
- Emails you send us: we keep them as long as we need to answer you and follow up.
- Analytics: Google Analytics keeps visit data for [14] months, then deletes it.
- Server and security logs: our hosting and security providers keep these for a short period under their own policies.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe any time using the link in any email from us, or by emailing Vieau97@gmail.com. We’ll stop emailing you within 10 days and delete your address within 30 days.
- See, correct or delete your information by emailing Vieau97@gmail.com. We’ll reply within 45 days.
- Opt out of analytics with your browser’s cookie settings or Google’s opt-out add-on (see “Cookies and analytics”).
Depending on the state you live in, you may have other rights under state privacy law, such as getting a copy of your data. Email us and we’ll help. We won’t treat you differently for using any of these rights.
We don’t sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of there.
Children’s privacy
This website is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has signed up for our updates, email Vieau97@gmail.com and we’ll delete their information.
Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to our mailing list is limited to the band members who manage it. No website or online service is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Links to other websites
This site links to other websites, such as social media and Turnbridge. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email address, we’ll tell subscribers by email before it takes effect.
