Sound has always been a complex part of my world. As a person with autism, I experience sound differently — it can be intense, layered, and sometimes overwhelming. But music has always stood apart from that. Where noise can feel chaotic, music feels intentional. It’s structure, emotion, and beauty built from the same raw materials that can otherwise create confusion or overload. From a young age, I’ve turned to music as a way to soothe, to regulate, and to translate the sensory world into something that feels harmonious and whole.

Being part of The Struggle Bus Project allows me to channel that understanding into something shared. I love witnessing sound evolve into connection — how a single chord or rhythm can reach across experiences and help people feel seen. Supporting this band means supporting that process of transformation: sound into art, emotion into movement, and individual experience into community.

For me, The Struggle Bus Project is a reminder that music is one of the few things powerful enough to bridge difference. It grounds us, heals us, and connects us — not through words, but through shared feeling and the beauty of sound made intentional.
